Still interested in an answer? Narrative therapy can be perfectly combined with exposure. Just look at the manual by March & Mulle (OCD in children & adolescents). I combine the two in a slightly different way. Externalizing helps children to better motivated for "fighting" against OCD. Up til now there doesn't exist any research that narrative exposure is superior to standard exposure. To me such research wouldn't make much sense. Michael
