    the internet is addictive becaust it offers attention, attention to those who are uncapable of receiving attention in the real world. attention is additive in itself especially when the internet provides you with a platform where you read only what you want to read. for many ppl (especially ones prejudiced against in normal life) the internet is an escape where they can feel normal and be treated normal. some may abuse this and fall deeper into illusions but the topic here is addition and yes, this type of satisfaction is addictive.
