We are 2 clinical psychologists working for a child and adolescents mental health team in the uk. We are hoping to set up a group for young people who self harm. It's just in the planning stages at the moment, so criteria and aims are not yet established. At the moment, we're at the stage of auditing current caseloads to look at the feasibility and usefulness of such a group. There doesn't seem to be a lot of research on the effectiveness of group interventions for self-harm, or indeed many accounts of groups that have been run. Therefore this message is a request for any information that my be helpful - references, personal experience, opinions, advice etc. Thank you
