I work at a county mental health agency, and here psychiatrists do accept clients regardless of their diagnosis, of cours providing that they are genuinely in need of and can be helped by medication. With us, clients are assigned generally based on where in the county they live. Psychiatrists generally only see clients for medication issues, and we, the therapists, do the mental health work. Among us therapists (social workers and counselors and psychologists) some of us specialize and some of us do not. I'm new to this, so I guess I'm still working out my specialty. I'll take anyone.
