    Licensing
    T. Wolf · 01/26/03 at 11:56 PM ET

I am a graduate from an art therapy program (1995) and when I graduated, managed care stopped reimbursement for art therapy. I took my only option to license as an LPC. I moved with this license out of state and moved again to find that the allied mental health degrees no longer meet the counseling education requirements (2002). While I can hold a clinical LPC in Texas I can not even get a license in New Mexico without completing 18-64 hours of school. Is anyone else having this problem and what have been the solutions besides going back to school.
    Thanks,
    T. Wolf
