Domestic Violence and Shame

I would like to get in touch with the Philadelphia MSW or anyone else who has worked with male domestic violence perpetrators. I run the domestic violence treatment program in Lake County and would like to discuss shame, blaming, denial and ways of treating deeply angry men who have difficulty getting beyond their denial.

If there are other female facilitators in male domestic violence treatment programs out there, I would like to be in touch with them re issues of transference and countertransference.

I would also like to talk with other therapists and facilitators about female perpetrators, female anger and rage and the ways men and women express their anger differently. Can e-mail me (stjohn@jps.net).
