PSYCHOLOGY OF CYBERSPACE

    Time and this forum

The interesting thing about newsgroups, like this forum, is that time is stretched out. People interact with each other (converse) over the course of days or even weeks. So if you post a message, and there's no reply right away, come on back in a few days! We usually think of the world of computers and the internet as fast-paced. But here's an example where it encourages us to slow down a bit! In the words of Jed Clampet...."You all come back now, ya hear!"
