ICQ certainly is a great tool. I guess if SPEED of communication is the ultimate reward for some people, they will end up spending lots of time at their computer and connected to the internet. That's the only way ICQ will work. For some people, "Being Instantaneously Connected" is a powerful psychological metaphor.
