    Time Distortion in Chatting Online
    David Stein dstein@B · 9/7/97 at 1:37 PM ET

Speaking of time... one thing I've noticed about online chatting is a definite time-distortion. People can chat for hours and feel like much has been discussed. But one can easily go back and read the entire chat log in a matter of minutes. It may be that this time-distortion indicates that much more is going on in the mind of the chatter than in normal F2F conversation.
