    Re:Meditation versus hypnosis (definition of hypnosis?)

    People are using the word "meditation" when they are talking about apples and orange. Better we should talk about "fruit" and realize that there are many different techniques of meditation, producing different results. Some kinds of meditations involve focusing on an object, some involve integrating with a wider awareness, some involve visualization, some involve contemplation. Best to define specifically what kind of meditation is being discussed.
