Lyme Disease

I am wondering if anyone else has used EMDR with a Lyme Disease patient. My experience has been miraculous for whatever reason. About one year ago, I began using EMDR with a teenage boy who has Lyme Disease. He had been quite normal and bright with no trauma history before the illness. The problem was not diagnosed initally so the disease progressed to the stage which involves severe neuological problems,head pain, OCD symptoms and total blindness for several years. He had been told that when his confusion cleared his vision would return and that the eyes themselves were not damaged. The EMDR immediately seemed to help with his depression and the OCD.Confusion cleared and this September, he woke up one day with total sight.
