You are invited to post your comments and questions, comparing the therapeutic assumption and techniques of Klein and Adler. It would be helpful to first read chapter 5 (Klein), then chapter 3 (Adler) of Psychoanalytic Versions of the Human Condition: Philosophies of Life and Their Impact on Practice, edited by Paul Marcus and Alan Rosenberg.

The authors of each chapter were asked to comment on:

• their views of human nature
• their concepts of psychopathology
• their approaches to psychotherapy.
