There are any number of interesting presuppositions in this comment, e.g. 1) That there is a recovered memory cisis 2) That families have been destroyed by "recovered" memories. I would probably disagree with both such notions
There is a great deal more mis-information about the so-called recovered memory crisis than can possibly be disgusted here. I might refer people to the review of "recovered memory" books that Stephen Gillign and I wrote for the family therapy networker in March/April 1997.
