I am a student at the University of Quebec pursuing my Ph.D. in psychology. I am interested in a specific topic concerning the legal status of psychologist. Here in Quebec (Canada) psychologist only have a reserved title status. Which means that we do not have any actions (such as therapy, psychometric assessement, diagnostic..etc) that are exclusive to our profession, only the title "psychologist" can only be used by a certified psychologist.
I am wandering what is the situation on this topic in other places around the world?
Do psychologist have a reserved field were they can practice an exclusive action?
Does anyone know of a good reference were I could find an answers to these questions?
