Professional Identity in Cyberspace

I am interested in how you all feel about psychologists who identify themselves as such in cyberspace. For example, in discussion groups and in chat rooms I often see people with a username like PSYDOC or DRSIGMUND or in discussions the person's professional identity is obvious. My question is what do you feel about the potential hazards of open representation as a psychologist in cyberspace?
