What do I do?

I have a Masters Degree in Counseling and worked very hard to accomplish this task after a number of years of substance abuse. While in undergraduate and graduate school I worked full-time as a substance abuse counselor. Six months after graduation I relapsed after 10 years of being sober and clean I lost my job that I had worked very hard to develop. I now have 6 months of sobriety again and I am unable to find any type of work in my field. Nor any field for that matter. I am not sure what to do. I have a job interview next week. Up to this interview I have not confided in anyone about my past. Do you think that it is necesary to do this from a legal stand point. I really need a job.
