What impressions would you have of the following posters:

Poster #1: "Greetings! I'm curious to know what you think about the recent finding concerning online relationships."

Poster #2: "HI CAN YOU TELL ME HOW TO BE A THERAPIST"

Well, this should be VERY interesting to see responses too. I will risk my interpretations and be interested to see what follows.

RE Post #1: Providing the person asking the question listens to the answer, I would respect their ability to "ask" rather then foist. This would suggest a certain ability to "take-in", thus, r/o (in all likelyhood) severe online addiction. First impression, (subject to revision through a body of evidence presented over time that would allow a more valid interpretation), is that a persons ability to "take-in" would suggest a certain lacking of "defenses" to "shut-out, rationalize, or sustain" a character rigidity or neurotic fixation. I would ask this person what findings he was referring to and ask of their thoughts in regards to them.

RE: Post #2: Typing in caps would suggest either a newbie or social disregard. The question itself would in all likelyhood be asked by a youngster. An older person would be somewhat aware of educational requirements, and in all likelyhood, would ask a more pointed question as to specific "other" requirements to become a therapist. I would reply to this person by giving them a website address they could refer to as a way to get this question answered, or, ask them to re-frame the question more spefically.

First impressions only....and understand, totally out of context. Interested to see how others respond. Great job!!!
