That was what I was so curious about and liked to hear. I learned that a person is not vulnerable under the state of trance, in fact more active in making use of whatever the suggestions being presented to him or her.
I had participated in the workshop of Brent Geary that took place in Japan this year. There, at the end of the three-day workshop, we conducted a therapy session where there were 4 therapist acting as one and a client. We, the therapists had a great fun performing as if we were a jazz band. There was a therapist who took the role of a band master. The rest of us had differnt ideas as to what and how to say. On cue, we talked, switched seats, sang, and totally enjoyed the session. And to my surprise it was helpful to the client! It didn't matter nor bothered him at all when our sole intention for doing this was "let's do something different, things we will never do in our workplace."
So, I guess my question was how powerful a role suggestions can take under the trance if the suggestion was permissive to let what the client wanted to see it happened happen.
