He did not speak about these matters during any of the training times I spend with him over 5 years. He rarely spoke of Dr. Huxley's experiece with him that he once published (July 1965, 8, Amer Jour Clinical Hyp.). Remember, Erickson was interested in helping retrieve and associate experience almost exclusively. He hardly ever tied together heady rationalizing or cognitive theory or philosophy in my experience.
