I also recently finished The Scars of Evolution, it was the second book by Elaine Morgan that I've read, she also wrote a book called The Descent of Woman sometime in the 70's. As I am a student just begining my undergraduate career, I am not very familiar with what evolutionary theories are widely accepted. I was pleased to find a evolutionary theory that included factors related to women and found Morgan's theory very plausable. The message that I am responding to is the first I have heard about Morgan's work. I am interested in the general opinion of what she has to say. -SK
