Nicely said, MW. I like your ideas about anonymity. While there are many advantages to relating online, there are some major disadvantages. Psychologically, socially, spiritually, we are physical beings who touch, taste, smell, as well as see and hear. Tbe jury is in on what happens when humans are deprived of physical sensations, and physical contact with each other. The results ain't good. I suspect there are very few people who would be happy relating to their children, family, and closest friends JUST via the internet. Never underestimate the power of a handshake, a pat on the back, a hug, and a lover's embrace.
