I most sincerely wish I actually could have spent time with Dr. Erickson, but alas, I didn't discover his ideas until long after his "transition". The annecdote in my last posting is from a paper by Ernest L. Rossi, who wrote voluminoulsy about Dr. Erickson. I have often imagined what it would have been like to observe and learn with him, and the results have been very illuminating. It is said he would tell a client "my voice will go with you" so as to reorient trancework into the future. Though I have never heard his voice, in many ways it actually does "go with me" and the experience is marvelous, as solutions to situations pop into my mind from nowhere and it would seem as if he were there giving them to me...
