The way I see it Erikson wanted a much more dynamic relationship with the patient. NLP seems to have taken a slice of Erikson's technique and refined it -- in the process providing the schematic approach that Erikson abhorred.
However, I am curious as to why you emphasize that NLP practitioners are willing to teach their methods to salesmen, housewives, et al. Ought this information be withheld from the commoner?
