Mark Erickson, MD.,(merickso@health.state.ak.us) has collected information on the differential geographic distribution of the A2D2 allele vs A2D1? which is associated with a range of impulsive behaviors. There is some overlap with areas from which agriculture orginated. If so, did an allele change us and was agriculture an epiphenomenon?
If my memory is correct in the arrangement of the data, then I prefer to blame the gene.
