    I have to disagree strongly with this one. The extent to which psychotropics have an impact on the development of fetal brain tissue is unknown. To assume that such medication is benign is a risky thing to do; I think that there are good a priori reasons to think precisely the opposite. The idea that anxiety related to obstetric uncertainty should be dealt with by medication (as opposed to psychological techniques) is incomprehensible to me. Don't make your baby take psychotropics if you can help it, do seek to deal with the factors which are generating and maintaining anxiety.
