    1. Regarding your first question, I know of no such list. I'd go with with the positive lists that exist, by contacting the EMDR Institute and the EMDRIA (international association) for credentialing.

    2. Some of the symptoms you've described are reported when EMDR is conducted without screening for dissociation first. I don't have enough information here to comment specifically on this case, but I will say that all EMDR practitioners are urged to screen for a dissociative condition before conducting EMDR, lest dissociative barriers be penetrated without appropriate groundwork being laid. It isn't that EMDR shouldn't be used for dissociative conditions, but rather that the protocol is different (and unresearched beyond clinical anecdote I might add).

    Case consultations may help clarify the answer in the case above.
