    Interesting thought, but I suspect that it was probably the content you were reading rather than the eye movements. I know of no research to suggest that reading produces processing in the way that you are suggesting. Given how many people read, I think that if reading created a mechanism for processing emotional material that we would have heard about it by now.

    Intereting observation however.
