Re:EDMR in Arizona?

A quick clarification on the previous post.

The EMDR Institute (www.emdr.org) can provide a list of therapists who have completed Level II training in EMDR. These therapists are not certified or licensed in EMDR. The EMDR International Association certifies EMDR therapists (after they have their training, a certain amount of experience and further consultation regarding their work). The International Association can be found at www.emdria.org.

The clinical picture you describe should be familiar with EMDR therapists and EMDR generally works very well with this group of people. Whether or not EMDR is right for you specifically should be explored directly with your therapist.
