It is not unusual for people to experience a whole chain of feelings --- and they may not all fit into a single EMDR session. Typically, anger may be followed by such feelings as fear, shame, loss, and other things. The bottom line is that the process keeps going. It is helpful to use containment imagery to "tuck in" the remaining material between sessions. It can be continued later. It's all quite normal though.
