Sorry to hear that this has been so difficult. I have a couple of ideas, not sure they will work of course, but perhaps. First, contact EMDRIA (not just the web site, but a real person). Ask for people who are either EMDRIA Certified therapists or EMDRIA Approved Consultants (consultant is the higher credential). This is a new designation, so no one with this credential would be out of practice or no longer doing EMDR. It does not mean that they would be right for you, of course, just that they have maintained their interest in EMDR and gotten additional supervision beyond the Level II training. Second, if you can find a EMDR Facilitator who is in your state, they often know who are the best theapists in their area. You may have already done both of these things, but if not they might be helpful.
