I am not aware of any one saying it isn't wise to do EMDR in pregnancy, as long as the person's doctor says its okay to have strong emotions, which might happen.

I can't comment specifically on your case, and there can be many causes of lethargy. However, sometimes a therapist and client may be overlooking an important target. One way to identify if the work is missing something is to have the client imagine life in the future without the symptom, and process that. Often, this will turn up whatever is blocking the release of the symptom, even if it is a well hidden block. In my experience, ego state therapy is often helpful to "interview" that block, once identified, to understand it more fully, so that it can be processed.
