    I think the above suggestions are good ones. It will probably be impossible to give a good answer to these kinds of questions in this kind of setting. Best suggestion that I know of is to find a therapist experiences and trained in both providing treatment for severe abuse and DID as well as EMDR. Then meet with them and discuss you situation and background (probably in great detail). EMDR might or might not be appropriate. Since EMDR is not a school of therapy by itself, your therapist should be skilled in a variety of ways of helping people with this kind of background (being able to use EMDR perhaps, or perhaps never using EMDR with you at all).
