    SUDS

    Can someone explain to me how SUDS works? I understand it is Subject Units of Distress/Discomfort Scale, from 0-10, with 0 being "calm" and 10 being the most anxiety or distress. But how can one trust themselves to answer the "correct" number? I've looked everywhere for a complete explanation of SUDS, and the basis for it, but haven't found it.
