emdr versus control of epileptic CPS seizure

Good afternoon,

Since 10 years, I search for psycho-thérapy with another psycho-somatic technic to effectuate periodically a catharsis for emotionnal charge with one type of epileptic patient:
seizures which happen in ­clusters one time/month without any neurological problem if only light scar on right temporal lobe and atrophy of limbic system(Hippo-amygd).

This seizure began at 9 years old(x 45 years), after
affetive disturbance when his sister try to rejoin him and
was victim of car accident.

Do you believe if emdr wint psyco-therapy may de usefull in this context and
