Your post makes a couple important points: - even mild to moderate traumatic childhoods can require a great deal of untangling - untangling childhoods can be very painful - support systems sometimes, not always, fall by the wayside in the process of transforming self from trauma. A couple of general comments that may or may not apply in your case: - sheddin old skins results in new vigorous skin emerging - pe9ple feeling raw should pause in their processing lest they feel like hamburger - if one reaches out, the world is full of people who can begin to understand the whole thing - the pain, the shame, the anger, all the rest. Its the keeping it all in that is toxic. Its in the expression that liberation comes. Thanks for your post.
