I am interested in finding out more about the hearing impaired and DID, I realise this isnt EMDR specific but persons who have experience with EMDR also seem to have some experience with DID clients. Does anyone know if there are any cases that have been used in research and such that involve the hearing impaired being diagnosed and treated for DID?
Also for a psychologist to adequately treat a hearing impaired person it would be necessary for them to posses tools to communicate with them, such as knowing sign language and so on and if they dont then how would there be adequate communication seen as there would obviously be communication thru the client and their parts of self.
Any articles or research papers would be a great help, thanks
