Ricky: In your last post, you stated: "We have plenty of evidence already that something unique is happening in EMDR, and that there are some different mechanisms in play." What evidence would that be? I think that I'm pretty on top of all the published literature, and I can't think of ANY evidence to indicate that different mechanisms are in play when it comes to the effectiveness of EMDR and other forms of effective treatment for PTSD. Perhaps you are referrting to stuff that is only recently published and I've not yet come across it or stuff that has been presented at conferences, but not yet published. Please tell us more.
