Re:Policy Notice

Although I support this decision I suspect that it may represent the fruition of a self-fulfilling prophecy for some: that EMDR supporters supposedly can't tolerate dissent. However, I believe that this conclusion would muddle the critical distinction between potentially unpopular ideas and blatantly unprofessional/obnoxious behavior. This forum has clearly welcomed the former while tolerating the latter for perhaps too long.

Personally, I wish there was more debate on this forum, I find it a bit boring because it is so pro-EMDR. On the other hand, I would appreciate a spirit of professionalism and true engagement in such a debate.
