I think it at times can be comparable to having the world feel a bit turned upside down. The previous "reality" is gone and a new one has not quite replaced it. Or the new one - being blameless and outraged - is one that would not have felt safe before, and though it has begun, the framework/foundation supporting it is still a little shakey at the moment, perhaps. I think that as it gets processed further it will deal w/ associated stuff that may be getting set off while also strengthening the realizations, and also that w/ time the dust will settle.
