>Anyway, these “common factors” seem to ring a bell...almost sound like “faith, love, and hope.”< Well, this does suggest that there's something at work often used in spiritual healing. Faith, hope, and love are part of the tradition applied, as far as I know, for as long as man has existed. It also suggests that there is something at work in the relationship and in the healer that has yet to be indentified and quantified. I propose it is spirit or energy that some people successfully connect with, and therefore become excellent healers, and it is what heals. Faith, hope, and love generate the connection and the energy, but there's more to it. It is a real connection with a universal power or universal mind. Dr. Inobe has found out how powerful that healing energy can be, and sends her patients to a Reiki healer. However, the truth is that one can access that energy oneself. Once you've experienced you know it exists.
