had this thought right after I posted and don't know if it will help. I had difficulty identifying what I felt, the label and name for it. I felt and I couldn't quite name it, I was never taught to do so. I could only say I felt something, I didn't know what it was. Over time I was able to find words/labels to attach to what I felt. Now, I can say I am sad and not label it as being down or depressed. Or, I feel frustrated as opposed to raging mad etc. With time, and it did take time, I have been able to make those distinctions at lower levels of feeling. Now, instead of saying I feel depressed or down I can more clearly identify it as sadness or tiredess or whatever it might me.
