    Dr Lanius,

    I completely agree, there is probably little if any meaninful differences between moving your eyes around or not doing so. That is exactly the point! Now if EMDR proponents would re-rename EMDR to DR, I think we would be getting somewhere. But perhaps this is not likely to happen because we already have a DR treatment that works quite well, and it's called CBT ala Foa or Resick or others. The difference is that they do not claim that they are making "paradigm shifts" when they make minor variations in the procedure.
