Hi, again, Actually I noticed what you had posted here previously on fractionation and kind of assumed that was a "new" but vital aspect of the whole thing. I know it sounds good to me, the thought of doing emdr on an total "event" sounds way too overwhelming. All of this is premature of course... I'll be lucky if new t will do emdr with me six months down the road... and she does needs meeting emdr anyway... Having grown up in a family of social workers (all abusive) it is such a relief and so wonderful to see techniques and professional behavior based on empiricism and research. I am impressed over and over how carefully and respectfully emdr is treated by responsible professionals. That, more than claims of speedier recovery, has attracted me to it.
