It is my understanding that this and other similar forums do some grooming and pruning when threads get repetitious or verbose, because of the sheer volume of the postings. Sometimes the volume makes it hard to access through the server, so something has to go. Indeed, some of mine get pruned from time to time -- I wouldn't take it personally.
