People like yourself have recently been pursuing two non-professional and unhelpful lines are arguments. 1) personal attacks at the sources of the criticism and 2) over-reliance on anecdotal "evidence" when some point to the disconfirming research on EMDR and misinterpretation of the results by Dr. Shapiro. When I point out that some on this message board attempts to malign me I am then criticized for attacking them. I hope people are not being fooled by these tactics. MC, if you feel that I am "patronizing", "arrogant", and "self serving" that's is fine. It's your opinion. However, I think you might want to reread Dr. Shapiro's comments to me and see if they also can be characterized by the previous adjectives. I guess when you can't attack the message, settle for attacking the messanger.
