    Brian:

I did not threaten to ban your ideas. I simply asked for moderation in the use
of certain language. Thank you for your post. It is a good illustration
of one side of the argument.

But now we have a problem: I haven't seen the answers I requested of you
and you appear to me to be again referring to articles I've already discussed.

Since you and Don (above "New article on EMDR") have indicated that I'm too
personally tied to the argument to be credible, I'll allow someone else to
respond to you. All I'll say is that the article of Lazrove's that I posted
previously was clearly entitled an "open trial." It has quite a number of
standard psychometric results you might want to take a look at that
duplicate the robust findings of the EMDR comparative studies you didn't mention.
In addition, I believe that you have misinterpreted my statements about cbt.
However, readers can take a look at my second post in the "New article on EMDR" thread in order to decide.

The Forum Leader has informed me that he has to
thin the list because people are having a hard time accessing it.
Therefore, when someone has offered a science based counterpoint to your side
let's try to leave it at that and move on.
