It seems you espouse what some in philosophy would call a postmodernist attitude in which there are multiple ways to "know" a think, each equally valid. I find some insights in this type of epistomology but also disagree with it on a fundamental level. I guess we simply have to agree to disagree about the validity of controlled studies over case studies. We come from fundamentally different ways of viewing the world. However, coming from your position goes quite well with reviewing some of the articles I have presented. I'm glad to hear that you are looking into researching opinions other than Dr. Shapiro's.
