    I just read a horrifying book by prison psychiatrist Terry Kupers (Prison Madness) about mental illness both within and at the hands of our current prison system, especially in the supermaximum security prisons. I know EMDR has established a notable presence in war-torn and disaster areas. Is it currently being used in any rehabilitation programs for either confined or exiting prisoners? Any studies on the subject? Any special protocols developed for use with prison or ex-convict populations?
