As a new Level I practitioner of EMDR, I am learning that there are many choices of presenting problems that can benefit form reprocessing. Making EMDR a part of the comprehensive treatment plan is very important. I've heard form other level I trainees that they could not identify when to use EMDR. It appears to be like many forms of therapy to be dependent on what the therapist can imagine as possibilities for the client. I don't recall the training speaking to this issues. I find that my follow-up training currently is identifying the possibilities where EMDR can be beneficial and as well as how to identify different targets that are maintaining the presenting issue. Can you point me in the directions I need to look to expand my awareness of these issues
