    Socialising patients in cognitive therapy
    Beck · 4/17/00 at 6:50 pm ET

Oftentimes when teaching the cognitive model to anxious patients they come up with obstacles such as "Its not about
logic its about feelings ,its how I feel,I cant think logically when Im anxious"The former part of the statement
as a reason forwhy CT is not suitable to reduce their anxiety. Can anyone suggest a subtle method to getting around
this viewpoint/or challenging it,so as to move the client forward in treatment.
    Thanks, Beck
